Step 1: Set
your screen area to 1024 by 768 pixels. You can do this by clicking on 'My Computer' on your
desktop. Go to 'Control Panel' then go to 'Display' then 'Settings' and change your screen
area to 1024 by 768 pixels. Step 2: Set your text size to
"smaller" in internet explorer. You can do this by clicking
"view" then "text size" and clicking on
"smaller".
Real Player G2
Plugin- Click the install real player G2 link. Select
"run this program from it's current location". If a window
opens asking you if you would like to install setup.exe, click yes.
Follow instructions as they appear on the installation of real player
G2.
Macromedia Shockwave Plugin- The
shockwave plugin is an extension to your browser to let you view animation on web pages.
The main page at bellydoc.com uses this plugin to run an animation. Therefore
if you would
like to view the animation you must download the plugin. When first viewing the
bellydoc.com main page you should be prompted to download the plugin. (This is only if you
do not already have it) Please follow the instructions that you will be given when the
plugin is ready to download.
Viewing articles/images-
Viewing articles and images is very simple. Go to the medical articles page or the
procedure images page. Click on the articles/image you want to view, and it will
immediately take you there. (The link will be gray).
Up to date News- This is a listing of
important medical news for that week/month/year.
Health Quiz- You can test your knowledge with
one of our health quiz's! All you have to do is go to 'Health Quiz' (in gray) on the left
side of your screen, choose a quiz, and use the pull down menu to select the correct
answer. When the quiz is complete you will get a score in %, and all wrong answers will be
checked. Note: you must select an answer for all questions.
Searching- On the CD version
of the web site searching is disabled. It has been replaced with a site
