have high blood pressure (148-92), is that a concern before gastroscopy? |

| A: As a general rule, if the endoscopic procedure is elective then the
patient should address other medical problems with their primary physician prior to the
examination. For an individual already receiving antihypertensive therapy a modest
adjustment of dosage may be appropriate. |
