A Fond
Farewell To Richard & Jill Saltz
There are
poems aplenty about Jack & Jill
But we want
to honor the Richard & Jill on our doctor bill!
As you
leave to forge a life over some distant hill,
We said OH
NO! and did it quite shrill
When we
migrated to this small slice of paradise,
We were
concerned about medical care and advice,
And
luckily found this medical couple who are very nice,
They blend
together better than sugar and spice.
Your caring
ways this poem is all about,
Forgive the
pun, you know us inside & out
For all
you've done for us, we give a thankful shout,
I must be
careful or my tears will fill my snout.
We will
miss you as doctor and nurse,
My rhymes
of course might even be worse,
With you we
will no longer be able to converse,
But in our
hearts and bellies you will always be first.
Yes, we
will miss you as you face a new life,
The most
charming doctor and nurse-wife,
May the
road rise up and meet you without strife,
And may you
face the years ahead without too many a gripe.
With best
wishes for a happy and prosperous future from
Lila and
Jerry F.
